Holly '78

I drew this Holly Hobbie in 1978 from an American Greetings card. When Holly first apeared in 1977, it was love at first sight. This was my first attempt at drawing the little country girl, and this sketch really saw some wear and tear over the years, but I couldn't get rid of her. It took some work to get her looking well enough to post. The paper was brittle and yellowed with spots on it from tape, moisture, and age. With a little help from PhotoShop, I was able to make her at least presentable.
