Boy
"Boy"...oh boy! This sketch was done from an ad in Seventeen Magazine, back in the 70's. How many of you girls remember this one? I thought "Seventeen" was worth buying just to get a look at this gorgeous male model in his patchwork shirt and denim jacket slung over his shoulder.
He appeared in (of all things) a Midol ad. The slogan was, "Midol, Do it for him." Well, you can believe I used the stuff!
And if I remember correctly, he also appeared in a Dr. Scholl's ad carrying a girl over a creek that just happened to be wearing Dr. Scholl's sandals. I'd love to know the guy's name and whatever happened to him.
This was one of my better attempts at a portrait sketch while in high school.
