Running Bare

Running Bare is an all porcelain Native American toddler.  He is 14 inches tall and stands on a 1 1/2 inch base.
He has his bow and arrows all ready for the big hunt and he wears a suede loincloth on his chubby little body.
He stands with one foot turned over as he waits patiently for his prey to come in sight.

Running Bare is just about the cutest little Native American doll I have ever seen.....he has such a cute, determined,
expression on his face, and his nearly bare bottom is just so darling...you can almost see his
mother popping that little backside and telling him to get on back to the camp before he gets into trouble.

Running Bare came with hideous little moccasins and Susan Lippl later told me that he was
designed to be bare-footed but Masterpiece Dolls added the shoes.
I took his moccasins off and that is when I discovered he had that adorable stance.

My Running Bare was made in 2003 by Masterpiece Dolls and is  #77 of only 200 dolls that were made.

Susan Lippl's original sculpt of Running Bare also sported war paint.
