Eternity Manifest Final

This sketch was the brain child of Ben Stivers. He requested a Celtic cross and a rose with a modern city backdrop. I wasn't sure how to go about this but I came up with a final rendition of what I thought he had in mind. The final sketch was really an accident. While trying to clean it up and smooth out some places in PhotoShop I had a slip of the mouse. The effect was so intriguing that I just went crazy with the smudge tool. I flipped out and in a moment of artistic experiment, I rendered what I found to be a rather amazing picture.
