Christmas Card 2002
The inspiration for my 2002 Christmas card came from a song on a Christmas CD by the group, Chicago. The name of the song is
"One Little Candle", written by Larry Mysels and J. Mallay Roach and sang by a Childrens Choir.
It is a precious sweet song with a message of peace. I listened to it over and over and knew that I wanted
a candle on my Christmas card this year.
I photographed a candle with a holly ring and began to draw.
My Husband voiced a desire for me to add color to the card; as had many friends and family over the past several years.
Until now all my cards had been pencil sketches.
This year, for the first time, I have painted my sketch.
I need a little more practice for sure but over all I was pleased with this year's Christmas card.
