Audrey Hepburn
This is my original sketch before doing major editing in Adobe Photo Deluxe. This one shows all my
poor skills. The only computer editing done to this picture was the sparkle of the earring, the light reflections in her eyes and the highlight of the lips. All else is exactly as the original sketch appears.
The hardest part (besides the hair) was drawing her white leather gloves. I almost decided to just draw
her hands without gloves and probably should have. This was drawn from a photo that is part of the Kobal Collection and was featured in the 1993 People Extra "A Tribute to Audrey Hepburn"
The next 3 pictures are Adobe edited versions of this sketch that I saved in the process of achieving a finished portrait that would be unique and special.
The original hand drawn pencil sketch was sold on December 17, 2003
